Steve is Director, Investment and Engagement at DCL. His background is largely in the finance sector with experience in marketing and HR. Steve’s involvement in post-quake regeneration was sparked by his prior role as CE of an engineering think tank, the NZ Centre for Advanced Engineering, which played a role in early work on response and resilience to the quakes sequence. This led to roles in DDCU (with CERA) and then work through the establishment of DCL further to joining the organisation as an employee.
